Grief and its Challenges:                                    25 - 27 April 2012

This workshop is being held in conjunction with Trigonos and is designed for members of the helping professions, volunteers and people supporting those who are grieving, as well as individuals wanting to understand their own grieving process.
The workshop will be led by the experienced practitioner and  leading author Dr Neil Thompsonand Denise Bevan, an experienced and highly respected family therapist and educator.
The focus will be on making sense of grief and the challenges it presents. As well as exploring different approaches to understanding grief, the workshop will explore practical strategies for coping with our own loss experiences and supporting others in dealing with theirs.

Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, Bangor University                    Living Life with Ease and Connection                       5 - 7 May 2012

An introductory course in mindfulness developed for people who are new or relatively new to mindfulness practice. During the course we will engaging with mindfulness practices such as sitting meditation, mindful movement and the body scan and will be heading out into the beautiful landscape of Snowdonia  for mindful walks and practices within nature.

Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain:        11 - 16 August 2012

                   Felting For Fun                                                                               1 - 4 October 2012
An opportunity for people who enjoy the craft of feltmaking to come together and share their skills and inspire each other in the wonderful setting and comfort of Trigonos. This
is not a felt making course, there is no official tutor so some experience of feltmaking 
will be necessary. It will also be a chance to go for walks, relax, unwind and enjoy the amazing food at Trigonos in between the feltmaking.

Circle Dance and Meditation Workshop                                     15 - 18 November 2012
This is the sixth consecutive year of this residential workshop combining circle dance, led ny Ana da Costa and meditation led by John Hofton. There will also be singing sessions led by Felicity Jones and short walks in the local area organised by Jackie Earles and led by an experienced guide. The weekend's activities are complemented by the excellent Trigonos hospitality and wonderful home-grown, seasonal food which is served at each meal.

Acclaimed composer and jazz musician, Jochen Eisentraut has collaborated with award-winning film-maker, Eilir Pierce to create an exciting new music and film project. Triptych Jazz & Ffilm, premiering at Galeri, Caernarfon on Sunday 13 May 2012, is structured around the number three, taking the idea of the triptych from triple mediaeval altar paintings.

Gwynedd based Eisentraut is an intriguing jazz pianist/saxophonist and part-time music lecturer at Bangor University. His portfolio consists of many musical compositions for numerous films and plays including theme tune for popular S4C soap opera, Rownd a Rownd.
