COWBOIS CELTIADD/ RICE HOOLIGAN ORCHESTRA/ DEFINITION/ JAH BAR/ STONEHOUSE/ SPECIAL MAGIC GUESTS/ 5 QUID ENTRY/RAILWAY INSTITUTE/ SAT 25TH FEB - 7PM - FOR THE MAGIC CHO :)*
This live magic music gig will take place on Saturday 25th February in the Railway Institute Club, Holyhead Rd, Bangor from 7pm, entrance will be £5 to be paid on the door.
This is a Fundraising Magic Music Event to help raise money for ‘Leukaemia Research’; whom are the only UK charity solely dedicated to research into blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma. Their life-saving research is focused on finding causes, improving diagnosis and treatments, and running groundbreaking clinical trials for all blood cancer patients.
The headlining Band playing will be the infamous and amazing :
*COWBOIS CELTIADD*/ CELTIC COWBOYS*;
they are a folk rock collective from Anglesey, formed from a desire to make an active contribution to the underground festivals, gigs & parties they have frequented for the last decade or so. They were spotted by Gwynfryn Records & put in the studio to make their 1st album “Tatws Pum Munud” To the surprise of the band, which split up & reformed twice during its making, the album was a huge success selling well all over Wales & reaching no.3 in the national chart.
*STONEHOUSE* will be playing their bluesy rock stuff in style!
Collectively, Stonehouse produce dynamic soulful music, whether its performed acoustically or as a full band, the audience are seemingly captivated.
The night will also host the fabulous:
*THE RICE HOOLIGAN ORCHESTRA*, a great local and popular Welsh folk band, fiddles, double basses and lots of fun to dance to!
There is also going to be a ‘surprise special magic guest performance’.
The night will proudly have Dj collectives; the high quality
::DEFINITION CREW / Dj Venom will be supplying their top of the range Sound System!
The JAR BAH SOUNDSYSTEM will be playing, they bring you a sound combining Reggae, Dub, Dancehall and Funk in a Hip hop Turntablism stylie.
All of this top quality, eclectic music will be brought to you on Saturday 25th February at the Bangor Railway Institute from 7pm, entry is £5 on the door.
