LIVE MUSIC from "Jamie & The Portraits" with support from "Duke".

FRIDAY 24th FEBRUARY ... 9pm... FREE ADMISSION!

JAMIE & THE PORTRAITS
"Jamie and The Portraits are a 3 piece Indie-Pop outfit from Kent. Consisting of melodic hooks, loud banging and a sprinkle of light-hearted humour, J&TP are growing a fan base from all over the country with no intentions of stopping. A really cheeky bunch with an extraordinarily happy arsenal of tunes. One to watch. "

BBC Kent's Stephen Morris:
"Jamie & The Portraits' songs are gorgeously light of touch - perfect music for the approach towards summertime."

Islington's Hope and Anchor:
"Upbeat indie pop rock typa thing. Paolo Nutini meets The View. Rousing songsmithery."

DUKE
Duke are a distorted young three-piece alternative rock band, based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Fusing a fine balance of beauty and noise, varying dynamics and catchy vocals, they work relentlessly to create a refreshingly original sound, both on and off stage.
Taking influence from Scottish alternative music such as Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic, and Frightened Rabbit, Duke have been seen supporting the... likes of Dinosaur Pile-up, Johnny Foreigner and another very notable influence, Sucioperro. Other supports include: Little Comets, Lightguides, Fatherson, The LaFontaines, and many more.
With the explosive release of new debut single ‘Hopes & High Horses’ (recorded and mixed by Bruce Rintoul at Lofi Studio, Glasgow) and accompanying music video (filmed and edited by Joshua Porter Photography), successfully under their belt, the three-piece look to have a busy year ahead of them with a number of tours, supports, and releases in the pipeline.
